Emergency Veterinary Services:

Como Park Animal Hospital is a unique veterinary healthcare facility.  We offer 24 hour veterinary care.  We have a veterinarian AND veterinary technicians in the hospital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  This means patients are never alone in the hospital, and a veterinarian is always here in case of an emergency.

Our preventative care hours are 7 days a week, starting at 8am, going until 8pm during the week, 6pm on Fridays and 2pm on weekends.  These hours are set up on a scheduled appointment system, so we ask clients to call ahead to schedule appointments.  Patients in the hospital receive continuing care from our preventative care staff during these hours. 

AfterHours Veterinary Care, our urgent and emergency care department, located right here in the hospital, is open 24 hours, 365 days a year (including overnights, weekends and holidays).  They are set up on a walk-in, emergency need based intake system.  We do not schedule appointments during these hours, since we never know what emergencies may come up.  The AfterHours veterinarians and staff provide continued care for hospitalized patients during these hours, ensuring seamless 24 hour care without having to transfer to another facility.

24/7 The Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) was established over 40 years ago by a group of local veterinarians who wanted to provide their clients with quality emergency veterinary care. We treat many dogs and cats, but we also care for birds, guinea pigs, snakes, hamsters, ferrets, and more. We are the only emergency hospital in Minnesota with more than three decades of experience treating exotic animals.

Pleasant Valley Equine Vet Service was founded in 2005 and has since provided over a decade of professional service in performance horse medicine, equine dentistry, and mare reproductive services.  Our experienced staff is dedicated to delivering compassionate, educational, and supportive service on every visit and call. Our vet team has personal experience ranging from the show ring to trail rides and just about everything in between. We understand what it takes to keep equine partners strong, healthy, and ready to go. We offer 24-hour emergency services provided by the doctor on call. In the event of an emergency, call 651.238.5354, service is based upon availability of on-call doctor.

We typically offer clinics in Ashland, Baldwin, Cumberland, Eau Claire, Ladysmith, and Mondovi each month.

Purple Cat is a mobile veterinary surgical suite providing low-cost, high-quality cat spays and cat neuters to cats in need in Northwest Wisconsin. Many of our clients are big-hearted folks with a cat population out of control from years of reproducing. These cats may be living on dairy farms, hiding in the alley, or an abandoned shelter at the trailer court. Please help us get the word out to spay and neuter our outdoor cats.
