The DACS Trap is a 8x4 automatic trap, constructed with a heavy wire kennel, magnet, sensors, and a camera. Baited with an intriguing food smell, the dog walks into the trap, triggers the sensors and the door closes behind him/her. During this time the camera starts sending images to our Animal Control Officers. Day or night, our Officers will respond to the DACS Trap and humanely capture the dog.
